This is my hand painted Han Solo, Endor, with sample solid brown trenchcoat, on a Royal Guard card. It is one of about 50 or fewer in the world. I couldn’t find a loose one, so I got this one from The Earth in Cincinnati when I found it. These are samples that Kenner produced before they were made with the camouflage patterned trenchcoats. It was placed on a Royal Guard card because the Han Solo Endor card was not ready, and a smaller bubble was used to test bubble size. With Kenner being in Cincinnati, there are a lot of great vintage items found there. This particular rare item is listed on The Star Wars Collectors Archive. I thought I should get this one, rather than risk never finding a loose one. It’s a really great figure, especially with the dramatic difference in the trenchcoat, and even the figure is a little different than the production figure. It’s one of the rarest sample carded figures, because it is also miscarded, and the figure is hand painted. There is some brown paint on the top of the bubble from the head where the figure has shifted.
