This is my light-gray Tri-Logo Boba Fett. These Boba Fetts are actually even harder to find than a blue Snaggletooth, Yak Face, DT Luke, and VC Jawas They were only made and released in Europe on Tri-Logo cards. Several years ago, I bought a lot of ten light-gray Tri-Logo Boba Fett figures to get my mint loose one. Before I sold them off, I took a picture of all ten of them with my J-slot rocket firing Boba Fett prototype and my mint released Boba Fett figure. That picture is located here These Tri-Logo Boba Fett figures are molded of a light-gray plastic, noticeably different than the normal released Boba Fett, and the paint is also in slightly different shades, most visibly the green torso plates. There are some other subtle differences in the figure. The biggest difference is that on the back of the right leg there is no molded location print like on the regular Fetts. On the Tri-Logo Fett it does have the molded copyright date on the back of the left leg just like on all of the regular Fett’s left leg. However, on the right leg there is no print, whereas on the regular Fetts it says where it was made on the back of the right leg. On the Tri-Logo Fetts you can see where the location would have been on the right calf, but the mold was changed to show no letters. Another big difference is the blade handle below the dark yellow knee pad on the right leg, which is unpainted. On the regular released Boba Fett the handle is always painted dark yellow on the right leg. Some Tri-Logo Boba Fetts have that handle painted yellow, but the ones with it unpainted are harder to find. It’s extremely difficult to find these light-gray Boba Fetts at all, and nearly impossible to get a mint one. It took over a year for me to get a C-9.5 one like this, from a very friendly collector named Martin in Hungary. He obviously took great care of it. The head and limbs are very tight, and there is only one tiny place where some paint is missing, on the inside of the right arm band. It’s probably as near mint as I’ll ever find. Because of all the time it took to get one, it’s one of my favorites.
